1
-Alarm Building Fire with multiple extra companies

Heavy Fire upon arrival, flames could be seen for miles in the night sky.
Camp Belzer, a 130 acre boy scout camp that dates to 1918, next to Fort Harrison State Park.
As many as 60 firefighters, using multiple tankers from several area fire departments
responded to the large building that houses the mess hall/cafeteria at the Boy Scout Camp.
Firefighters had a very hard time getting water on the fire because there is only one hydrant in the area,
so water had to be trucked in.
Fire took well over 2 hours to get under control.

No injuries reported.
